Your Guam Chamber Small Business Focus & Development Committee is pleased to present the topic: How to use your Expertise as a Customer to Better your Services on Friday, April 28th Seminar with featured speaker, Ms. Toshie Ito, Proprietor of Motive Training & Consulting. 

Toshie will discuss the essentials of empathy-based customer service and the importance of customer service people’s emotional intelligence development. Here are some examples of the topics covered in this seminar:


  • Internal customer service before external customer services. 
  • How to apply emotional intelligence to enhance customers’ experience.
  • Experiencing and understanding customers’ perspectives and initial reactions.
  • Being proactive to nip customer turnoffs before losing your customer’s loyalty.
  • How to conduct demonstration-based customer service training and follow-up coaching.
  • Dealing with customer’s negative feedback, complaints and hostility. 
  • Empowering and working with customer service people in your organization.
